Kensington House Aparthotel

My daughter is at Newcastle university and turned 21 at the weekend. The apartment was perfect to host a small drinks party for her friends before going out for dinner. I will definately be staying here again.

This is a very nice modern apartment with all the facilities in a very good location. It is a very nice change from a hotel and you get all the benefits of a hotel too.

Perfect. A roomy, tastefully decorated one-bed apartment with both a bathroom and en-suite shower, an open plan kitchen and lounge with fast wifi access and a comfortable bed with luxurious sheets - what more could you possibly want??

Ideal spot for a business or pleasure visit to Newcastle. There is free parking right outside the door, it's two minutes walk to Jesmond Metro Station, and the accommodation is first rate. The small kitchen is fully equipped given croissants and cereals for breakfast. I didn't cook but I did have an Indian delivered. Sky sports is available on television too. There's not much actually around the hotel so local shops pubs restaurants are at least a five-minute walk away.

Had a wonderful one night stay visiting family in the area. We are a family with 2 boys and the apartment appealed to us as hotel rooms felt cramped. We were not disappointed the apartment was spacious and beautifully decorated. We will be back when visiting the area again.

We were treated like children when we wanted a small group of friends that we met while out (2 people). And they were not allowed into the building. We have stayed in apartments before and there have always been extra girls who are not staying in apartment up prior to going out and even popping back up after before heading home. I think we should be treated in a way that we take responsibility for own actions as we were all adults. We also had paid for another girl to stay in the apartment for two nights even Although last minute she couldn't arrive until the next morning so technically we should have at least been allowed one more guest. We were willing to register them with full details but this was also refused. It really was ridiculous. And I know for a fact we were not the only ones dealt in this way this weekend at this Apartment. Other than that the place is beautiful and clean. Just very disappointed due to that issue.

I would highly recommend the Kensington House Aparthotel. The apartments are spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. This is a nice change from staying at a hotel you definitely get good value for money.

The good: Centrally located, classic architecture, plenty of room, comfortable beds, no issues with parking, friendly staff. The not so good: Decor is a bit 'out there' and dated and tired. Automatic air freshener was overpowering until I turned it off.
