Cernobbio Residence

We stayed in one of the apartments. Good value for money and perfect place for a family giving you that extra space and the flexibility to cook some of your meals. Spacious room with kitchen. Lovely staff, they informed us about the restaurant and breakfast options and offered us some water and coffee while we checked in. We ended up doing most meals in the kitchen and didn't get a chance to visit the restaurant but we read it is very good. Lift available. The place is very quiet but at the same time close to the centre of Cernobbio. We didn't have a car but found no problem reaching it by bus from Como. Close to supermarkets (even a Lidl), bakeries, cafes and restaurants. Don't forget to visit the local Lido in Cernobbio!

The kitchen could do with including dish soap and a sponge. In similar apartments in Italy there was some salt, coffee and tea (even oil most of the times) included in the apartment, which is very useful so you don't have to carry salt with you around the country if you are staying in different places :) It was a very minor inconvenience nonetheless.

The rooms were very comfortable and equipped with all the accessories, town and ferry stop very nearby and easily accessible

Gould size room with everything we need but it is dated and may not be to everyones taste

Absolutely beautiful grounds with big trees. Large room with very good beds. Clean apartment with kitchen element where you find all utensils for cooking. Excellent restaurant, but a bit pricy. Two breakfast options: Italian or full buffet. Excellent brioches. Quiet area, in easy walking distance to the lake. Good connections by ferry or bus to Como.

Room tends to be become hot in summer. Air-conditioning is available though. Private car parking is quite pricy, but it is convenient right in front of the building.

Great accommodation for a stay in Como. The room was very large, lots of space - the facilities were brilliant although we didn't require them as were staying for one night. We really liked the kitchen area, and if we were staying longer could have used this. The car park was very large.

Nothing - super happy with eveything!

The location is perfect near the ferry stop, there are few places around to eat in addition to the Pizzaria in the hotel itself. Also there are shops 10 minutes walk which is useful for a family. By Ferry, Bellagio is 1 hour 45 minutes away, with the views of the lake and the mountains the time flies by and to be honest I found Cernobbio more into my taste than the over crowded Bellagio. The view, the terrace and the surroundings are all perfect. We stayed in an apartment and asked for a baby cot which was offered for free. The beddings were all nice and clean.

I had to pay for the parking, which should have been included in the price.
