Château - Hôtel Le Sallay

Outside: green garden with big trees space, silent, very pleasant, with benches and sitting chairs to rest and read. A very clean pool, organised service around it. Fine dining restaurant! Inside: clean, modern and old beautiful interior, full chateau experience with wooden floors. Service: friendly staff and responsive. Rich breakfast. The electrical charging station available was beneficial, being far away from the city.

Partially low sleeping comfort: a family with an adolescent child, we had a double room, with a double bed and a sofa bed. While the main bed was great, the sofa-bed was really bad, could barely sleep on a concave surface. The blankets quality didn’t help: with them on top, rapidly too hot, without - too cold. It’a a pity for the whole otherwise great stay experience! Breakfast: the chateau seemed under-staffed, with no active supervision of the guests’ well being and waiting times unsuitable for a 4-stars hotel.

Nous pensions dormir dans un château avec une chambre équipée d'une salle d'eau comprenant une douche, nous avons dormi dans les dépendances du château avec une salle de bain comprenant une baignoire peu pratique. Il est important que la présentation soit très claire sur le produit proposé. Par ailleurs nous avons été relancés plusieurs fois dans la journée par mail et par téléphone pour nous inciter à réserver le repas du soir puis nous avons été accueillis froidement à notre arrivée sans aucune présentation particulière notamment pour le petit déjeuner du lendemain matin.
