Isla Baja Suites

Our stay at Isla Baja Suites in Garachico in November 2025 was everything we hoped for—and more. Garachico is an absolutely gorgeous town, rich in history and charm, and the hotel’s location next to the natural volcanic pools makes it truly special. There’s a sense of calm and authenticity here that’s increasingly rare. The suites are elegant, spacious, and thoughtfully curated—comfortable without feeling overdone. Breakfast was fresh, light, and beautifully prepared, setting the tone for slow, relaxed mornings. What made the experience truly memorable was Laura Bier, the host. She is warm, attentive, and deeply human—our conversations with her were heartfelt and meaningful, making us feel less like guests and more like returning friends. We stayed for three nights, and it felt like a genuine reset from London life. Isla Baja Suites is not just a place to stay—it’s a place to breathe. We already look forward to coming back.

This must be one of the best accommodations anywhere. Should you spend a few days in Garachico, rush to book one of the spacious apartments here. The whole place is very tastefully furnished and it is definitely a big plus to have a separate bedroom (with a very comfy bed). There is also a basic kitchen. Breakfast in the atrium was of excellent quality (tortilla!). For epiphany, even a delicious Roscón de Reyes was provided. Very friendly and efficient owner and staff. We felt right at home.

Una bellissima e grande camera con il letto a baldacchino ed un magnifico soffitto in legno. Anche la colazione è ottima e lo staff è molto gentile ed accogliente. La struttura e in un’ottima posizione.

La struttura è meravigliosa. Un’atmosfera magica, d’altri tempi. Nella suite in cui abbiamo soggiornato, curata in ogni dettaglio, respiri la storia del luogo, e godi di una vista spettacolare, l’oceano. Da Laura ti addormenti cullata dalle onde dell’oceano , e ti risvegli in un ambiente così accogliente che ti sembra casa. La colazione viene servita nel bellissimo cortile interno della struttura, mentre Laura, la host, ogni mattina dà il buongiorno a tutti i clienti, dedicando a tutti del tempo per consentirci di programmare al meglio la propria giornata. Noi abbiamo chiesto se poteva indicarci una piantagione di banane da poter visitare per fare felici le bimbe, e Laura ci ha accompagnati di persona, raccontandoci la storia della piantagione e facendoci conoscere il proprietario , altra persona davvero squisita . Penso che siano proprio la cura e l’amore che Laura mette nel suo lavoro a rendere il soggiorno in questa struttura un’esperienza che resta nel cuore. Da ripetere. Grazie Laura .
