Golden Crown China Hotel

Hotel is located right opposite Macau international airport which is good but not so good if you want to be in centre of town.. There are other hotel shuttle buses that service between airport and the respective hotels.. Hotel provided breakfast which was poor and quite inedible as it did not cater for westerners and the food provided was always cold. There is no coffee in the rooms and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on..there are no extra pillows provided if you just want to sit up.. The food at the hotels restaurant was okay....! The doors on the elevators are quite dangerous as they close very fast and we often got hit by the doors closing on us.. Otherwise the elevators serviced well.. We were disappointed as the pool is only open for three months in the year and was closed when we were there in November.. There are no gym facilities or communal sitting area. Also almost no one speaks English..

we stayed at the golden crown china hotel in macau for 1 night. it was awesome at staying at this hotel, it is literally across the macau international airport, and the staffs of the hotel is very accommodating. the only problem is the slow and intermittent internet connection. for the breakfast at this hotel is very satisfactory. the cleanliness is an A plus. we will definetely comeback to this hotel.

Dear All, Firstly, I used DO NOT DISTURB function. Despite that cleaning staff called me and was asking me if I would like to make up my room, I just reminded them that not necessary, this is why I have used DO NOT DISTURB, anyway she was trying to offer cleaning once again.. Secondly, the cleaning quality is really poor in this hotel, I add you some pictures what I have found at time I step into the room. Thirdly, the food. There is a restaurant where you can find just Asian food. Knowing the fact, that half that could be some are Europeans we have difficulties to find western food. McDonalds is nearby in the terminal, but it’s temporary and not healthy solution. The internet cuts every 5 minutes!!!There is no internete connection in lobby! And finally, Today I used elevator from 17th floor. When reached ground floor I saw this view (photo below). The elevator I used was OUT OF SERVICE! Luckily I reached the ground floor without any accident. To sum up, the hotel has some things which is not acceptable, the rest is good! ☺️

Beds were rock hard and the carpet had many disgusting stains.

Reasonable price, with plentiful normal food for breakfast.

Great location, speedy check in, for short layover. However place is old and had a bit of moldy smell. When ac on smell disappear a bit.

Very convenient if you are flying into Macau. Pretty poor breakfast with no fruit of any kind and fake orange juice. The carpet was pretty stained and dirty in the room, but it is a nice looking place otherwise. Wifi was not good.

The entire hotel looks old and tired. We could not breathe well due to the odor in the entire building. Breakfast room staff was rude to chase diners out for LUNCH setup even we had a full cup of coffee.Swimming Pool was closed without prompt signge until we went there with full swimming gears.

We arrived after midnight for a 13 hour layover in Macau. Our requirements were simple - beds for the night and it had to be close to the airport. The hotel met these requirements. Just walk across the street from baggage claim and you're there. The lobby is immaculate but the rooms definitely could use updating. The beds, as other reviewers have said, were rock hard. Carpets were stained from cigarette burns and now I can see why most hotels in Asia provide slippers. The hardest beds I've ever slept on. I can't say anything about the free breakfast because we were too tired to partake.
