The Angel Hotel

The bar and restaurant was near to our room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The bath panel was stuck back with a big lump of silicone. The top of the bed the window the dressing table and the shelf was all very dusty. I woke up during the night sneezing. This is not good for someone who suffers with any allergies?.

It was in a lovely rural location

We had no running water for a while, but soon got fixed. We also had no hot water but that did not get fixed. The kind lady gave us access to another room for a bath

Comfortable hotel, clean and well maintained. Generous meal servings at the in house pub.

Room was excellent and there was ample car parking. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. Quiet rural location.

Limited menu in the restaurant and most food was self service. OK for the price but would have been happy to pay a bit more and have wider choice.

Clean, comfortable and quiet room.

Poor Continental Breakfast and limited evening menu (but it was good value). As the venue was outside the town on a main road, there were no alternative sites for an evening meal in walking distance.

We had a lovely stay at the Angel Hotel, it’s a lovely place, with friendly helpful staff The food was brilliant

There is nothing to dislike

Convenient parking, comfortable bed, good and large bedroom

It felt a bit unloved, and we had to chase up the WIFI.
