Ivory Inn Hotel Doha

A lovely little hotel close to C Ring Road & Salwa Road, behind Jarir Bookstore. For the price paid it proved to be excellent value for money. The room was clean & staff were pleasant & easy to deal with. I wasn't expecting much but I was genuinely surprised by how nice it was. The pool on the roof is quiet & is a lovely little sun trap. The lamb biriyani from room service was tasty. I would certainly stay here again.

Receptionist and the bellboy was very accommodating. There are too many sofas in the seating area next to the reception. You cannot walk freely. If you are claustrophobic, don't use the elevator for it was very small compared to the lift of other hotels.I think 3 is a crowd in there. The room size is average but it felt so small because of the too many unnecessary furniture and fixtures inside. Bed was too high that my 4-year old daughter who is tall for her age cannot climb. Water in the bathroom is too hot. We ordered food from the in-house restaurant and have them delivered to our room. When the restaurant staff came, instead of putting the plates on the table, he attempted to hand them over to me. When I asked him to put the food on the table, he did it but frowned at me the whole time. Tip? No way! Electric kettle provided inside the room was rusty. We didn't bother to use it. Two adults in the room but only 1 sachet of 3-in-1 coffee was available. Safety deposit box is not working. Maybe no batteries. TV is not clear, bad satellite reception maybe. Breakfast buffet, not much food to choose from. Orange juice was fine but the coffee, not so good.

We stayed in one of the apartment suites which was clean and modern. The kitchen had nothing in the cupboards to prepare food work etc. So even though we could keep food for the kids in the fridge etc, we had nothing to make the food with. So the kitchen seemed pointless almost. Bathrooms weeny great. Handles falling off , leaking shower and bath. Phones in both rooms didn't work either and TV channels were not working properly. Had to call maintenance several times. Moved to rooms and it was the same. Although staff friendly, they are not well trained (accept a few). Customer service quite poor and quality of breakfast very poor. Potentially could be a great hotel if it looked at the details of the place.

We have been for a Eid party, where dinner was served and the food was awesome. The location is a bit off the road, however having lovely ambiance with good staff. The restaurant has been upgraded and you can make booking for any occasion.

Great location . suite room is magnificent! Such a nice day . Valentine's day became more special to us! Thanks to the staff. Just a little improvement in the buffet area, to add more food selections.

I stayed for days in the hotel they upgrade me to suite and sending me fruit basket but the room it was horrible as you can see from the photos was room 111 don't stay in that room then after 2 days I changed my room to 203 it was much better. Breakfast buffet nice Special thank to Ms. michele from reception she helped us a lot to make our stay pleasant along with another team from restaurant and H.K . There is one girl staff from spa department her altitude is awful while we seating in spa reception she keep telling us it's not allowed to seat here . By the way my experience was mixed with unpleasant and pleasant. If i will come again i would come to see smiley faces from reception and restaurant that's all .

The hotel is located just off Salwa Road and behind the Jarir Bookstore as you get into Doha itself, and I have stayed here on two previous occasions. There is onsite parking located in the basement (although it can be a tight fit for anything larger than a compact). The hotel itself is relatively new, clean, and well-maintained...and the value for all you get is simply unbeatable. The most impressive feature of my most recent stay was the reception. The reception attendants were very friendly and most welcoming. I will be certain to stay there again in the near future.
