The gardens were nice, parking was good, water pressure was good when the borehole pump worked. The owner made a plan to get a Inverter for my medical equipment while the solar system was being installed. Much appreciated.

Very disappointed with the breakfast, lack of a personal touch. Solar system was being installed while we we there and ithe batteries in the lounge was very noisy when charging. The honesty bar had no alcohol in it only some soft drinks and very small snacks and the ice machine was not working. I can't understand why the solar system was not installed in the gym a place which would be far less used. All cupboard doors "danged" when closed. Many sachets of sugar in room but only 2 coffees was not replaced on a daily basis.

The property is located in a very quiet area. The hospitality was excellent and the property just gives you peace of mind regarding safety.

The garden is beautiful and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Rooms are very spacious with lovely amenities.

It is very loud around the hotel, you can hear other guests very easily and is quite disruptive.

The rooms were relatively well-appointed with most things you need - bed, bathroom, etc.

- driving there at night felt like we were in a horror movie and going to be murdered. very confusing directions and spooky. - greeted by inebriated couple upon arrival who had no meaningful or helpful information - no one else was there (until after we went to sleep, when some people started partying outside the rooms until 2:30am) - this is in the middle of nowhere on a gated compound with barbed wire - there were centipedes all over the room - the bathroom window was open when we got there. didn't bother us but kind of weird. - no backup generator during load shedding

It took ages - served one person at a time, other had to wait to get food. Cold beans on side.

Large Suite, albeit not well designed in some areas (tiny toilet).

1). During our first night's stay, our car, parked within the property's security compound, was broken into. Glass window smashed & personal items taken. Two other cars in the compound were similarly broken into, suffering smashed glass windows too. The Accommodation Mgr, Inge, was helpful in dealing with the aftermath. However, she became very defensive when I suggested the property should be responsible for paying for the damage to the car, given it was in the building's apparently secure compound. Future emailing on this touchy subject yielded NO response from the property. 2). The property, while possessing a standby generator, was very reluctant to use it during rostered electricity power cuts. At times we were the only occupants in the building (which had no staff in the building overnight). We were given a variety of reasons why it (the standby generator) could not be turned on during some power cuts. Result was a miserable & un-necessary blackout in our accommodation! Very frustrating. 3). Associated in the building was an electrical vault, situated under the roof. After power cuts, many electrical resets had to be made. However, the access to this fault had to be made through our Suite! This happened many times, completely destroying our privacy. 4). While the Accommodation Mgr was generally helpful otherwise, the rest of the staff appeared surly & not friendly. Again a disappointment , given how much money we were paying for the accommodation. 5). As if the foregoing was not enough, a dog, in the staff/owners building nearby, created loud barking, upsetting the tranquility!
