"A perfectly calm and cozy winery stay in the Cape Winelands."

The breakfast was so delicious, and the service was very professional and friendly. The property was so nice to walk around. The fireplace in the room was such a wonderful addition to make the room even cozier. The wines from Holden Manz vineyard were sublime. We had a quiet and perfect stay!

What a gem. We loved everything about it. Most beautiful location, lovely room and amenities, great walk along the vineyards and river to the restaurant. Warm reception at our car and wonderful breakfast. Fireplace and complimentary bottle of wine in the room. Everything was amazing.

"Tolles Hotel auf dem Weingut"

Sehr schönes Haus. Leckeres Frühstück. Im Zimmer ein Chemine. Sehr netter Empfang. Gratis Weindegustation und eine Fladche Wein auf dem Zimmer. Schöne Gegend, Haltepunkt der blauen Buslinie.

Kein Abendessen möglich als wir dort waren. Es war jedoch möglich zu bestellen und das hat super geklappt.

"Frank was a wonderful host!"

The breakfast was delicious and fresh. Frank makes a great coffee and delicious breakfast. We were in Holden Manz during a bad storm and we could not leave the property for two days and he made sure we were safe and well cared for. They even provided us with food during the storm.

"Beautiful building and communal areas. Rooms need TLC. Staff were either inexistant or rude."

Lovely location, and communal areas of the building. Beautiful art. Lovely to have a fireplace in the room.

Staff management : staff did not introduce themselves, greet us when we entered the communal areas. It was quite strange. Cleaning staff sweeping floors and banging doors with brooms and loud talking from 7am on Saturday morning. 3 different staff members tried to enter the room between 8am and 10am on Saturday morning (we were staying the following night too) with one member unlocking and entering the room despite our calling out from the room. Room furniture and building a bit run down inside. Broken floor tiles, damp-damaged doors. The place needs some TLC in order to justify these prices. Our room terrace had a camera and a motion sensor flood light pointed onto this private terrace which is totally strange and uncomfortable.
