Nice place overall.

First, management had to open the door to my room because there was a problem and it had to be pushed, pulled and lifted up to open. Tiny room and TV uses apps that you must sign into with your own sign-in info. The mattress had to have been 30 or more years old. The mattress was so soft I couldn't sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off. There were so many hard lumps in the mattress, I woke up with a sore neck and shoulders. This was probably the worst bed I have ever slept in. There was a body pillow with no pillow cover on it lying on the bed, gross. Tiny room with furnishings most likely purchased at a garage sale; old, chipped and cracked. Had to go to front office to get ice and handed out in gallon zip-loc bag.Very odd place, nice people, with interesting outside amenities. Good place to get drunk and party with friends outside in the "fire-pit" area.If this room cost $69 I'd say a decent deal, you get what you pay for, but at over $150, a rip-off.

First time staying, darling room, clean, walking distance to OBW for our cruise. Staff was so wonderful! We'll be back!

It was very unique to have fire pits setting around the center of the motel. Nice little tables to sit outside your room. Also outdoor items to use. Rooms where clean and cozy. Front desk staff and friendly.

We have stay at this property in the past. We love this little gem. The place takes you back in time. A family orientated property with all ages having fun. We would love to come back when we can just relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

There is a center location that all rooms face that has a small fire pit, grill, corn hole, surry bikes, pic nic tables, pool, all ages table games, free breakfast items, & optional lunch & new bar. There is a gas station a very short distant from the Inn. The staff is very very friendly. You won't be disappointed!

Have to say I take issue with some of the negative reviews, this place offers so much more than many other standard hotels. It’s a great place for a family on a budget. They provide lots of games and in the front office just about every board game available. Outside, you have a nice pool and the ability to have a campfire and they also provide the wood! There’s also barbecues and games in those areas. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a place provide Wood for campfires. Just about anywhere you go in this small area there are Games for entertainment. In fact, my wife and I played checkers for the first time in many years. Moreover, this motel is very close to the lake and many of the attractions that are in the area. Yes, this is an older motel that has been renovated, but it is clean and it looks nice. The only negative thing that I have to say is the breakfast that you get in the morning is just carbs. There’s no option for eggs, but that was fine with us. We had our coffee and we went somewhere else for breakfast. I still feel that, this is an excellent place to stay and on top of that they do have some pedal buggies that you can rent. My wife and I love this place and would absolutely return on our next visit.
