AEEasy, comfortable, good location, pretty, went out of their way to insure our comfort at all times. Stayed in a room with private pool, never used the private pool as the main pool was just stunning to use but the room size and layout of this room was perfect for a long stay.
Food was rather underwhelming, maybe because it was out of season even so they really tried. There is a couple of good restaurants near (walking distance).
AEThe location of this property is magical. While it is just beside a very busy street, it is SO serene and you will feel like you are in a cocoon of serenity and tranquility when you stay at Era Beach. Amazing pool, beach views and beach breeze will provide for an amazing stay. The staff are incredibly nice, accommodating, helpful and kind. They make this place amazing.
Some little things were not catered for and while they did not make our stay unpleasant it would have been nice to experience these little touches (it was previously managed by the hotel chain Jetwing and then it was impeccable). The rooms did not have fans and while the A/C was great, it would have been nice to have the option of having a fan instead of the A/C during the night. Some amenities in the room were also not provided - but again nothing major.

GBWell appointed space, lovely spacious room and bathroom. Staff very friendly , well trained and very helpful. Breakfast however can do with a bit of improvement. I love Sri Lankan food and found the breakfast buffet a bit underwhelming
We loved our stay at Era Beach. The hotel is beautiful and well looked after. We had a sea view room which was beautiful. Bed very comfy and spacious room. The breakfast included was also really nice - fresh fruit followed by cooked breakfast. The hotel has a nice size pool which was very clean. The hotel was right on the beach but you could not lay on the sand or swim in the sea. However a short walk along if you wanted some beach and a sea swim. The food menu for lunch and dinner was also good! I would definately recommend if you are looking for a chill out hotel away from the hussle of the town - about 10 minutes tuk tuk from Unawatuna. The only downside was the road noise in the morning (but didn't really bother us). Thanks so much Era Beach for our stay!
