The toilet had a bad smell but once we called the office, they fixed the issue right away

The space was a good size with a big shower.

The pull out couch was very uncomfortable to sleep on with no cushion and you could feel the springs. The biggest disappointment was the pool. The first day the pool was green and the other days the water was very cloudy. It looked unsafe to swim in. It is nice to be able to cool off in the pool after a long boat or sunny day and we were unable to do that. I understand the property is older, but the bathroom had some dirty spots and should be cleaned better.

This place is the real florida keys - not all clean lines and shiny like a hotel room you can get anywhere - come and stay at pips for a genuine FL Keys experience! loggerhead apt is BIG - very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children and located right on the marina to watch the boats going in and out. our snorkel trip was canx because of boat issues and penny was most accomodating to give us our money back. we love it and will always return. porkys restaurant on site was great - so busy but service was great from colleen. see you next year!

5/5 Stars - Fantastic Stay with Exceptional Customer Service! We recently spent 3 wonderful nights at Captain Pip’s Marina and Hideaway, and we cannot recommend it enough. Aside from one unexpected hiccup, we absolutely loved our time here and are already planning our next trip back! The property itself provided a wonderfully calm and peaceful environment. There were no rowdy or loud neighbors, making it a relaxing oasis for our family. It’s a very welcoming, community-oriented place—our family even made friends with another family staying next to us! Having a fully equipped kitchen in our rental was an absolute game-changer. It was essential for saving money on food during our trip, and it gave us the space and convenience we desperately needed for washing baby bottles. What really set Captain Pip’s apart, though, was how they handled an issue on our final night. Our AC unit started leaking, but the responsiveness of the team was unmatched. The after-hours staff stepped in immediately, quickly resolved the issue, and relocated us to a brand-new apartment so we could sleep comfortably. The next morning, the manager sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and proactively refunded us for that night's stay. While moving rooms late at night wasn't ideal, the way the staff handled it showed true professionalism and care for their guests. Exceptional customer service is hard to find these days, but Captain Pip's delivers. Overall, it was a great experience. We will definitely be back!

Aqua lodge was fantastic for my brother’s and I to hang out and enjoy the weekend away. Quite a unique
