The room itself far exceeded what we were expecting, the size, the features, the comfort and the cleanliness. The restaurant was excellent, the beers on tap were great. The outside seating area made a lovely relaxing area to have drinks into the night..

The badger inn presents itself very well in an idillic rural location, close to major road network. Warm and welcoming atmosphere on arrival, with attentive and knowledgeable staff

The only minus point for myself being the stairs to the accommodation were steep, but this was acceptable as part of the charm of the place

Beautiful location. Breakfast was table service so a nice treat. We also ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely.

We had all five rooms as a family visiting family nearby. All the rooms were fine, we had the large family suite as there were 5 couples, so we had all the rooms. There were only two of us so including breakfast, which was £12.50 per person extra, it came to £174. Quite expensive for a pub, the most we have ever paid. We all had dinner at the property and the food was all very good.

I didn’t like that the shower was separate from the toilet and sink. Also there was no door on the shower part. The room with the toilet and sink was also quite small. For a suite I would have expected a large bathroom with a bath and separate shower all in one room.
