The room was excellent as we have a great view of the karst and the river. We enjoyed ourselves in the relaxing environment with bamboo rafting, scenery, great food and easy accessibility with didi travel. The staff are all very polite, friendly and resourceful with ideas for their guests.

I had a problem with the payment and was charged twice on two credit cards. I hope Moondance will resolve the issue with my credit card bank and revert the second charge to me asap.

Everything about Moondance Boutique Resort and their sister hotel The Apsara Lodge is WONDERFUL. The environment is so relaxing and peaceful. I stayed here for 7 days on my own in December. It was low season and a little chilly during the days (10°C) but it was so beautiful and restful. The food is excellent. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I really feel revived after a very long year at work after my break here and I would highly recommend Moondance to anyone who just needs to rest and be still for a while. There are a number of excursions you can book, but I didn't do any of that that. Just went for a couple of local walks up as far as Yulong River and one day got a taxi into Yangshuo town. The rest of the time I just sat on my balcony or in the restaurant or garden or my room and read a book and listened to the birdsong.

Nothing. This place is heaven on earth. Enjoy staying here very much. I will come back if I have the opportunity.

The staff was very helpful and the views from the hotel are amazing. Using the scooter from next door made getting around really easy. The breakfast was very nice and had enough options to choose from.

It seemed that nobody had stayed in our room for a while because the room had a stale smell, even the smell of mould. After we stayed there for a week it got a bit less though.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It by far was the most amazing Accomodation we had during our entire China trip. Such a beautiful and relaxing place. The rooms and decoration were beautiful but what made our stay especially unique were the amazing people working there. Monica welcomed us very warmly and Cherry was always there if we needed anything. All other staff were very long and attentive as well. We definitely recommend staying there and would love to come back some time. Thanks again for everything and all the best !!

Best places in our trip to China. Moondance resort have a magnificent location just down by the river, facing the Moonhill, and surrounded by peaceful and relaxing nature. Food is great, staff is kind, room is very clean and spacious. That’s all you need to have your best experience at Yangshuo.
