"Staff excellent but hotel misdescribed…"

Beautiful setting, our villa in the trees was very nice with a downstairs plunge pool. The hotel is amidst thick jungle habitat with walkways between the residences. Service from the staff was second to none, Gayan, Sanjeewa and the chef were excellent and so friendly and professional. I was very disappointed that this hotel is advertised as having a gym and other leisure facilities but upon arrival were told we needed to either walk or drive the km to the Jetwing Lighthouse to use their facilities. It took the shine off our two nights at Kurulubedda, also this property does not have an alcohol licence so we were unable to even buy a beer to cool off after a hot day.

Plunged pool and pool

We chose room only reservation.but when we just glance about the menu there wasn’t any meal plan that suite for us 😞 Better if there had a set menu meals
