Hotel Casa Gangotena

This gorgeous hotel has it all. It’s a former palace and is beautiful everywhere you look. Filled with fresh roses and light, the back courtyard is enchanting. Our room overlooked the square and the church of San Francisco for a stunning view. Rooms are large with marble bathrooms. The staff is warm, friendly and helpful. Don’t miss the rooftop for a cocktail at sunset. The restaurant is wonderful. Breakfasts are delicious and the chef’s tasting menu for dinner was fun and very tasty. You can also order à la carte. I highly recommend this property when in Quito.

Incredible beautifully presented cocktails. Excellent outdoor rooftop seating and view. Anghelo provided perfect service and knew exactly where to place us for a photo with the perfect view and backdrop.

This is an incredible building, with luxurious features throughout. The staff are some of the most professional and friendly people we met. Highly recommend anyone that has time in Quito, to spend a couple nights at this fantastic hotel.

Truly stunning hotel in the heart of Quito’s Old Town. The building itself is beautiful, the rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. Also a great location for walking around central Quito.
