Monte Dourado

We stayed last year and had a beautiful apartment, and loved it, that’s why we came back. But this time we had a different apartment and of course you compare. Comfortable beds, bathrooms in Portuguese style, we didn’t mind that. We had an outdoor area, which protected us from the wind, which sometimes happens in the Algarve.

The lounge room furniture belonged to a Scottish grandfather and I’m 66. A076 apartment was dark, because of that. The toilet cistern broke, we told the receptionist and she said someone will fix it the next hour, nobody fixed it. The living room table was sticky, although it looked clean.

Emplacement, piscine, grandeur et disposition de l’appartement. Localisation. Terrasse. Coin pour sécher les vêtements, très apprécié! Serviettes de plages. Excellent service!

Monter 3 étages. Signalisation extérieure, sur le site. Suggestion: ajouter des petites tables sur la piscine. Pas eu de changements sur trois nuitées. Mettre plus de papier de toilettes.

Very spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Plenty of towels, very clean, well equipped kitchen. Lovely patio that overlooks the pool. The pool was nice and enjoyed the lounge chairs and umbrellas around the pool. Dishwasher tablets provided and plenty of toilet paper. Great location just above the centre of town, so away from the noise, but very close and easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

No AC, but there are fans available in the apartment.

The location is very central and close to shops, the beach, etc. The pool was lovely and the apartment was bigger than I'd expected. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The apartments are a steep 3 minute walk from the main street so may not be suitable for the elderly. Was fine for us but just something to consider.

Il nostro soggiorno di 5 giorni è stato veramente confortevole. Il complesso di appartamenti sulla collina permette di parcheggiare l'auto sotto casa ed è veramente tranquillo. L'appartamento molto spazioso e ben organizzato. Servizi eccellenti di pulizia e cambio biancheria. Diverse piscine a disposizione. Abbiamo potuto raggiungere facilmente a piedi la spiaggia e percorrere i sentieri sulle scogliere con panorami mozzafiato.

Nulla da osservare

The location is amazing , worth paying extra for a sea view. Choice of pools although sun beds filled up fast.

The apartment was a bit broken in places, door wouldn’t lock , shower fell off wall . Although this was rectified quickly by staff , just needs a bit of tlc.
