Ohara no Sato

한여름에 민숙이 어떨까 고민했는데 기우였어요. 정말 좋았고 담엔 교토역 코인라커에 캐리어 보관해두고 17번 타고 갈 것 같아요.

시골길의 한적함과 고즈넉함이 있는 오하라 노 사토! 온천을 즐기면서(1일 150엔) 조용히 사색을 갖고 싶다면 게다가 시설대비 가성비도 굿!!

When checking in we tried to explain to the staff at the quest house that the room they were offering us was not the room expedia booked for us (from your confirmation email) It was on the 1st level with no outdoor area - the room we booked was on the ground floor with a small area with a small garden connected to the room. We booked 3 night originally and tried to explain that we would be checking out after 2 nights as the rom was not what we had booked they seemed to understand however when we checked out they made us pay for the 3rd night - we are extremely disappointed with this and will be following up with expedia to arrange a refund for the night we did not stay.

Very comfortable and beautiful hot spring! Nice scenery about the area! Surely will go again !

숙소가 4월임에도 불구하고 추웠어요. 히터에 따뜻한 바람이 안나와서 관리인에게 몇번이나 말했고 히터를 켜주신다고 켜주셨는데 아마 고장났던거 같아요.그외에는 좋았습니다.

고즈넉한 시골을 느끼려고 오하라에서 1박을 결정했습니다. 혼자 여행이라 1인 객실 찾기 어려웠는데 오하라노사토에는 1인 객실이 있어서 좋았습니다. 아침과 저녁이 포함되고 작은 온천도 있어서 그걸 감안하면 가격이 비싼편도 아니었구요. 방에 창문도 크게 나 있어 바깥풍경을 볼 수 있는것이 가장 좋았고 서비스도 좋았습니다. 미소 만드는 곳으로 유명한 곳이라 저녁은 미소나베가 나왔는데 정말 맛있었어요~ 특히 거기 나오는 고구마... 고구마가 제일 맛있으니 잊지말고 꼭 드셔보세요!

I stayed for the weekend, visiting nearby temple areas and taking baths. Pickup from bus station was nice, food was great (but you cook your own in "hot pots". Baths were ok. Not very service oriented staff, english skills very limited.

1. Good food (very healthy, and well made) 2. Pretty expensive (compared to what is provided) 3. Hot spring (had weird smell) 4. Kind staff members (they are families) Generally the ryokan was good, but the service was a lilttle bad compred to other ryokans I visited earlier.

The hospitality of this place is questionable. It's one thing to say "yes", "okay", "sure- we'll do it", and it's another thing to actually follow through with those words. If you choose to stay here, don't rely on the staff to do what they say they will.
