Whale Island Resort

L’île de la Baleine n’est ni sophistiquée ni luxueuse — certains bungalows ont des portes qui grincent et l’électricité s’interrompt parfois pendant un moment la nuit. Mais c’est justement ce qui fait tout son charme. On y ressent la vraie vie insulaire, loin de l’atmosphère artificielle des complexes hôteliers.

After two days, I stopped wearing shoes completely. The whole island is soft sand and wooden floors. It’s freeing to realize how little you actually need. My feet have never felt so happy.

Kayaking at sunset might be the most beautiful thing I’ve done in Vietnam. The sky turned pink, the water turned gold, and for a few minutes, everything was perfectly still. I wish I had a camera, but maybe it’s better that I didn’t — I just remember.

Le site,la qualité des repas,la disponibilité des équipes ,les nombreux papillons lors de nos promenades dans l'île sauvage.

Juste la météo très médiocre qui ne nous a pas permis de sortir en mer faire de la plongée.

Very lovely resort and the kindest staff. Everyone is so helpful and they even helped us booking the sleeperbus. Dinner was very good and being vegetarian was no problem at all.

I’ve snorkeled in Thailand and the Philippines, but the coral here surprised me. It’s alive, colorful, and untouched. The staff care deeply about protecting the reef — no boats dropping anchor. It’s peaceful underwater too.

After the second day, I stopped counting time. Mornings meant coffee and the sound of waves, afternoons were for swimming and reading, evenings for long dinners under the stars. It’s funny how quickly the outside world disappears here. The only thing that changed was the color of the sea — and maybe my tan.

Amazing location, the lagoon, the huts, the beach, the snorkeling!

I personally found the bed a little hard and the bathroom floor not easy to clean.

The staff from top to bottom made me feel like I was family. The bungalow and grounds were immaculate. Their mission to no only provide a great experience for their clients, giving back to the community, provide the locals with substantial employment, is commendable Rob
