Bonne option pour dormir a Gravelines

We stayed over night on route from Calais to Belgium. We were disappointed the restaurant was closed as we recall from a previous visit how good the food was. However, with the market taking place on the square outside we were able to find something to eat there. Hotel itself met our needs and we did receive a friendly service.

Bien situé sur la place (foire et brocante le w-e du 15août), jolie déco dans le hall de réception/restaurant. Chambre correcte mais peu pratique, bonne literie mais pas de tables de nuit, ni de prise à côté du lit. Si on ouvre le portant à bagages, le passage devient étroit pour aller à la salle de bain et les cintres pendent juste au-dessus, donc peu pratique. La fenêtre est vraiment difficile à ouvrir et il n'y a pas d'airco. Le personnel est sympa mais donne des excplications vagues pour savoir où se garer quand il y a une foire ou une brocante ou le marché du vendredi, il vous envoie au + loin alors qu'on aurait pu se garer plus près. Quand on arrive après 23h, le système automatique de sécurité se met en route et les portes ne s'ouvrent plus si on vient de l'extérieur, aucune info à ce sujet à l'arrivée. File au check out car ils ne font pas payer la taxe de séjour à l'arrivée, donc il faut repasser par la réception en partant.

Awful and disappointing. Drove 30min out of Calais after our ferry at 3am only because this hotel offered parking- stated by hotels.com/the hotel, only to find no parking available! And the parking advertised was on street parking but because there was a circus in town there was no parking and the reception told us to find somewhere on street- took us 15min to find and cost €6- of which the hotel did not compensate. Pretty ticked off with this because the only reason we drove so far in the middle of the night was to make sure our luggage in the car was safe. Should’ve just stayed in Calais! Actual accommodation was not worth it- got old, outdated rooms with no AC. The receptionist on Night Shift helped us out with a fan but still not a comfortable sleep.

Værelset var fint og ny renoveret. Buffet ved morgenmaden var upraktisk indrettet, da alt på køl var i et alm køleskab.

Très bel hôtel et parfaitement situé dans la ville (restaurants, commerces de proximité,...) Très propre et bien décoré ! Les chambres sont confortables et calmes. Elles mériteraient un petit coup de rafraîchissement. Le personnel est charmant et a l'écoute !
