Forest Hotel

I had the pleasure of staying at the Forest Hotel in Den Helder, Netherlands, from 15–17 June, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. What stood out most during my stay was the exceptional hospitality of the hotel staff. Every interaction was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful, creating an atmosphere that made me feel appreciated as a guest. The team consistently went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and ideally suited for both business and leisure travelers. After long days of meetings and travel, it provided a relaxing environment to unwind and recharge. Another highlight was the breakfast. The morning offerings were excellent, featuring a wide variety of fresh and high quality selections that provided the perfect start to each day. It was clear that considerable attention is given to ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. The combination of attentive staff, comfortable accommodations, and a quality breakfast made this one of the most enjoyable hotel stays of my trip. I would not hesitate to stay at the Forest Hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Den Helder, whether for business, military engagements, tourism, or simply exploring the beautiful North Holland region. A sincere thank you to the Forest Hotel team for making my visit such a pleasant and memorable experience.

Mooie centrale ligging

Geen airco, ontbijt tijdstip moesten we dag van tevoren doorgeven. Te dunne kussens.

Lo staff formato da solo donne, è stato molto cordiale. Sala colazione molto curata.

Per arrivare al piccolo ascensore c'è più di una rampa. Bagno molto piccolo,sembra quello delle cabine dei traghetti. Colazione molto minimal.

Bed was very comfortable, the rooms were great, new and clean. Bathroom was clean, fresh and a good size. Ideal location

It was first time staying here and I had a rough idea of location, but clearer signage would be helpful as to where the hotel is. I walked past it, as I missed the little sign in thw window.

Douche werkte niet optimaal

Newly renovated rooms, with nice artistic furnishings. Lot of thought has gone into this boutique hotel. Liked the included, simple breakfast run by a really nice woman.

That the window only opened about 15 cm. My room was a bit warm as the weather was over 30C. The hotel doesn’t have aircon (which is fine) but windows need more ventilation.

Mooie ruime kamers en prima plek in het centrum van Den Helder met alles op loop afstand.

The hotel is well situated opposite the train station and within the city centre. The staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough for us, always smilling and very helpful. The hotel was very clean throughout. Great facilities in the room with coffee /Tea making facilities and a very comfortable bed offering a good nights sleep. We definately recommend this hotel and will be staying there again.
