Maitai Lapita Village Huahine

The architecture of this hotel is amazing / and the internal museum is very interesting (wish we had more time to read all of it ! ) Rooms were nice and big and bed was comfy The area is pretty good, shops close by and also close to atv / car / bike hire :) The beach at the back is good but not as good as the beach at huahine iti (south island of huahine) Food was very good - probably the best food you will find at huahine We didnt like the fact that we were not told about the breakfast / dinner & wifi package (was not on hotels.com options and reception didnt inform us on our first day - we found out the next day so the billing got very confusing)

Very good experience. Restaurant staff is very friendly and will tip you off to nice things to do. Only con is no free wifi and some of the garden bungalows can be adjacent to each other.

Be wary of going during any festival time. Because the people were more active it riled up the local dogs. They were barking al night, couldn't get to sleep till around 4:30am. Other than lack of sleep, it was nice. Close walking distance to town, on a great beach, and great people.

A peaceful, beautiful place to relax or get out and enjoy all that Huahine has to offer.

Really nice and well cared for grounds. Internet was a bit pricey, but you really should be out enjoying the small village or having drinks by the pool and not doing work. Very well laid out. There is not bell service, so dragging luggage in the rain was not idea, though I suspect if we would have asked the staff would have brought it to our room. The staff was lovely from check-in, breakfast, and check-out. Was a great stay and next time we'll stay longer.

SUPERB! Definitely recommend... Staff wad helpful... Pool and Beach excellent... Great garden setting near the room.
