"No thrills, comfortable stay in Nelson Bay"

Location is fantastic, steps away from shops, restaurants and the marina. Secure, allocated parking ($150 charge if you’re an idiot and lose the fob like I did!) Comms is very clear prior to the stay and staff are responsive if any issues during the stay (by text). Comfortable bed, good shower, enough power points.

No mirror in the room, only in the bathroom Ceilings feel quite low, fan feels really low! So a bit cave like, but if you’re out and about it doesn’t really matter. Although comms was very efficient, I’m not a fan of contactless check in. Please consider minimising use of plastic and using large, refillable toiletries instead of the tiny individual ones. Pool area is a bit lacklustre but there are so many nice beaches to visit nearby
