Himawari Hotel

I enjoy staying at this hotel when I travel to Saipan resturant is great grocery store and bakery cant ask for anything else

Good inexpensive place to stay for a few days.

Great stay deeper cleaning is needed mostly dusting otherwise I would stay there again. Fresh bakery everyday is wonderful

I read other people's review about water being salty. I had experienced Saipan tap water being bad, but this hotel's water was as salty as seawater. Due to this reason, it was difficult to take shower since I tasted salt.

The room was quite large. But mattress was very hard. Grocery store below the hotel was very handy. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The only goid things is cheap. Far from the major road, room is old and tasty.

The hotel is definitely basic, but it is way cheaper than any other option in Saipan. It is comfortable enough (and I am pretty picky). There are washing machines in the hall, a cool Japanese toilet and a store downstairs.

This hotel should be rated in the two star category. The hotel rooms are located inside a general store and up a flight of stairs. Everything in the room is old and of poor quality. That includes the TV (few stations), the bed, dresser, etc. Even the towels are junky. There is no soap provided. All in all I would avoid this hotel.

The room condition is terrible - scales built up around faucet, rusty furniture, stained towels and linens. They also re-use large Japanese-imported shower cream / shampoo bottles, making you believe that they are high quality stuff. However, judging by the stains around the bottles and the quality of the shampoo / shower cream itself, I highly suspect the bottles were re-filled with cheap stuff multiple times. Unethical if you ask me.
