Exceptional stay in the heart of Pingyao Our stay at the Yide Hotel was outstanding in every aspect. The location is simply perfect—right inside the ancient city, making it easy to explore Pingyao on foot while still enjoying a quiet and authentic atmosphere. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, always ready to help with a smile and making us feel at home from the very first moment. Cleanliness deserves special mention: the room and all common areas were spotless, maintained to an exceptionally high standard that exceeded our expectations. A beautiful traditional setting, impeccable hygiene, and warm hospitality make the Yide Hotel an excellent choice. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Pingyao—we would gladly stay here again.

Als ik dan iets moet zeggen, dan is t dat t bed erg hard was. Maar dat ligt ook aan onszelf ;-)

In the middle of the old town, this hotel is an authentic place. The restaurant is also good (with Chinese wine per glas or bottle). You have the same spirit as the very nice belgium comic "Tintin et le lotus bleu"

This must be one of the most beautiful places in the world to stay. Intimate, charming and authentic. The magic is even bigger at night. A dream! Friendly people, nice location, good restaurant.

Nothing. Just know that it’s a very ancient well-preserved building. This means you won’t have all the modern comfort - but the charm really makes up for this. We preferred the Asian breakfast over the western breakfast.
