The Bayleaf Intramuros

Great location, helpful staff, nice hotel.

The staff were lovely, the roof top bar is a wonderful spot for drinks and a meal.

The rooms are starting to feel a bit dated, and the aircon, while very effective, is pretty loud.

I stayed here for 2 nights after a long haul flight on my way to cebu. Mid range hotel and good value. Clean and comfortable, friendly staff, great location and felt secure for a solo traveller. Humble friendly staff as always from the Filipino. Great place to walk around and take in the old Spanish buildings. Very clean place and a great golf course to play if your a golfer. Highly recommend 👌

Nothing to complain

We stayed at The Bayleaf Intramuros using the BPI promo to celebrate and welcome my birthday. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the AC worked really well which wr really appreciated given Manila’s heat. One thing that surprised me though, was the absence of slippers and bathrobes in the room. For a room that cost more than 5k, those amenities would have been nice to have. We also only had one keycard, so whenever my girlfriend went out, I had to go with her since the power and elevator access depended on it. I’m not sure if we could have requested an additional one, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re staying as a pair or group. We had an early dinner at Sky Deck and got a table with a nice view. The Dynamite Rolls and Pork BBQ Bao (not entirely sure if that’s the exact name on the menu) were really good. The Beef Birria was just okay since it felt a bit bland. The Creamy Spinach Mushroom Pasta was rich and creamy, but the chicken was a bit dry. Service was really good overall and the staff were very attentive. The breakfast buffet was decent overall. We also tried Cioccolata, and the iced coffees were good. They also provided free churros for takeout, which was part of the promo. Service was smooth from start to finish. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The reservations team was also very responsive and helpful when we booked in advance. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with a great location, and efficient service. A few small upgrades in room amenities would make it even better.

Exploring the walled city over the weekend with friends. Decided to book a room at the Bayleaf as our base due to its location inside the Intramuros district.

The location was convenient to walk to attractions. Breakfast was good.

Would prefer the wall colour to be lighter not orange.
