Il Fogliano Hotel

Magnificent location. Room was clean and comfortable with a good bed. Nice breakfast buffet in the morning. The private beach was just what we needed for a relaxing family vacation.

Staff look confused and frightened. Not sure what’s going on. Room very small. Charge for everything

Right on the beach, peaceful and quiet, big room with a wonderful sea view. Love that the sun beds are reserved for you! The staff was just amazing, so helpful, kind and respectful.

Fantastic stay in a wonderful hotel right on the beach. Staff were all fantastic making us feel welcome and couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. Breakfast was great and the included lunches were a class apart. Ate in the restaurant one evening and it was spectacular. We also ate at a local restaurant recommended by the hotel owner which was just a short bicycle ride away. We stayed for four nights at the end of a tour of Bologna, Florence and Rome and was the perfect way to unwind and recharge the batteries. Would recommend without any reservation. Fabulous.

GREAT location right on the beach, friendly and helpful personnel, clean, and spacious rooms (Junior suite), food ok, price ok (last minute decision), style a bit outdated (70s concrete,clean lines and open spaces) and still agreeable. "Pools" are 2 hot tubs on top floor with FABULOUS views of beach and sea.

Hotel is pretentious and staff unfriendly and rude. The room was damp with a rotton smell. When we informed about the smell in the room, we were told that’s because it’s small and no offer to change although the hotel was mostly empty. Excess charges for everything, including parking. Breakfast very average and Michelin restaurant disappointing. Have stayed in multiple hotels in this area, and would certainly not recommend this one.

Rooms were very clean, staff is very helpful and they were always smiling. Large delicious breakfast with a nice sea view. Only thing is that I would prefer blond sand instead of dark sand, the sea is constantly blurred

This hotel is right on the beach and has wonderful views. The restaurant has a fabulous tasting menu that we paired with wine and we really enjoyed the experience. Only down side was that they didn't have the buffet open for breakfast, they did said that we could order anything on the room service breakfast menu as a free upgrade. Nice but when we checked out we were charged $24 Euro for the eggs we ordered (that where cold and did not get eaten). When we mentioned that we had the free upgrade they told use the eggs where not included. If this happens to you get it in writing before ordering.

I had a very comfortable stay. My room was extremely clean both it and the rest of the hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and attentive, the meals were delicious. The dark chocolate with tangerine desert was incredible!

Very good stay, excellent service, room was large, and ocean view is great.
