The place was nice. And the breakfast was very good too.

It is an ABSOLUTE GEM of a place... one of the nicest and unique rooms I have ever stayed in. The owners, Martina and Salvatore were terrific- it felt like staying with relatives. Martina arraigned for a pro-guide, Paola, to the excavation which was a 5 minute walk away. A good local restaurant for dinner, a taxi to the train station in the morning... and off to the next adventure!

Property is easy accessed on the outskirts of Pompei. We were met by Salvatore in the evening when we arrived and his sister Martine in the morning at breakfast. Both spoke excellent English. The car parking facilities are within the gated property. Our room was very spacious accessed via a flight of steps on the outside of the property. Well equipped for a family of 3 with table/chairs/tea-coffee making facilities and a fridge. There is a 24 hr supermarket within 100 mtrs from the property and a number of restaurants which the owners recommended. The main town square is a 20 minute walk. Breakfast is table service with eggs cooked to order/warm bread/croissants/cereals/juice/tea/coffee etc. Only downside was the size of the shower cubicle which was small but this would not detract me from recommending the property which is central for exploring the Gulf of Naples.

This bed and breakfast, in the town of Pompeii, takes great care of it's clients. We were emailed with instructions to meet the caretaker and he kept in touch with us as we traveled overseas and within the country to get to the location. This was a big relief for us as we were new to the country on vacation. Once we got there we were treated to Italian hospitality at it's finest. The breakfast was more than expected. Salvatore took great care to make us an awesome 3 course breakfast. It was served with great care and thought. The room was a 1 room, 3 person set up that had ample room to sit so it didn't feel like everyone was on top of each other. The proximity to the center of Pompeii and the ruins was about .6 miles away. the weather was beautiful so we walked everywhere. There were many restaurants within walking distance. We visited I Matti to eat! I'd highly recommend this place.

Very clean and spacious rooms, great walkable location, good breakfast and friendly owners. This is the place to stay when in Pompeii.
