Excellent service! Fabio was excellent and the welcome was exceptional. Very homely.

Address was a bit difficult to find even with GPS, as was entrance into building, but once we arrives, all went well. The proprieter brought our luggage to the room and parked our car for us, as well as gave us directions to local places. Room was comfortable, breakfast was good, our needs were addressed, host was pleasant.

What a friendly guy! Probably the nicest person in Italy ! After a rough day, it was refreshing!

A perfect place to stay if you can bear the noisy main road especially at weekends. Fabio is a great host but if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs!

Fabio, the proprietor, was very helpful in finding a restaurant and acclimating us to the town. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was continental, comfortable and we enjoyed Fabio's mom, who served. Location was perfect for visiting the ruins

Pleasant B&B a short walk from the Pompeii ruins and a short drive to Vesuvious. Very friendly owners. Parking not a problem.

My girlfriend and I stayed here 4 nights as a center for our Almalfi and Pompeii leg of an Italy trip. It is close to the Amphitheater entrance of the ruins, but a little inconvenient to the Circumvensia train which takes you to Sorrento (1/2 hr walk). There is a convenient train stop that does run to Naples nearby (1 block away), make sure to use the right train line when you arrive with your luggage. The bed & breakfast itself is stylish, clean, comfortable and modern. Hosts Fabio, as well as his mother who helps out, are incredibly nice people who go above and beyond to provide information to make your trip enjoyable. They put together a nice breakfast each morning for you. The Italian orange juice is delicious, and with an assortment of yogurts and breakfast pastries it is a fantastic start to the day. Do stay here if you are passing through Pompeii as a backpacker, and consider it if you are looking to save some money when touring this region of Italy. On the way back from the Circumvensia each night we got great Gelato which helped to break up the walk. Pompeii comes alive with teenagers enjoying the plaza each night, co-mingling with a handful of tourists and locals. Often we went back out after returning to the room. There are several bars, restaurants, and cafes that stay open later. You get the feeling that you are experiencing a more typical Italian town than Sorrento or Florence, which frankly are over-run with outsiders and high end shops.

B&B Studio83 is conveniently located in the town of Pompei, a brief walk from the ruins of ancient Pompeii. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The host, Fabio, was a delight. The town, while perhaps not a tourist destination in and of itself, had some nice restaurants, and is wonderfully located for an exploration of the archeological sites in the area. The town is served by two train lines, Trenitalia and Circumvesuviana, and once you put in a little effort to understand the system, it was easy to visit Herculaneum, Oplontis (a bit of a disappointment), Villa San Marco (a good walk from the Via Nocera train station but worth it) and even Paestum (with an easy train change in Solerno). When we left the B&B after a few days of happy exploration, it was a rainy day, and Fabio very kindly offered us a ride to the appropriate train station for the next leg of our journey. I heartily recommend B&B Studio83.

It was an important factor to a pleasant journey at Pompei.
