Wir hatten ein Upgrade und die positive Beurteilung bezieht sich ausdrücklich ausschließlich auf das bessere Zimmer im 16. Stock. Anderen Zimmer darunter sind sehr viel schlechter und ich würde diese niemals so positiv beurteilen. Das Frühstück ist super und unbedingt empfehlenswert. Der Pool ist super und das Fitnessstudio ist für ein Hotel auch brauchbar.

Very disappointing experience – no flexibility for religious needs I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. When I arrived for check-in, I explained that I was traveling with frozen food for my stay in China because of religious dietary restrictions. I cannot eat just anywhere, so I always travel with my own food. In every hotel I have stayed in around the world — including other hotels in China — staff have always been kind enough to store the food in a freezer or help find a solution. Unfortunately, the receptionist (the lady in the photo) refused to help at all and showed no willingness to find any alternative solution. It was a very simple request that hotels usually accommodate without any issue. Because of this, I was forced to leave the hotel and find another place to stay, which meant losing about half of the money I had already paid for the reservation. Very frustrating situation and extremely disappointing service, especially considering that this is supposed to be an international hotel that welcomes guests from different backgrounds and cultures. I would not recommend staying here.

The location was awesome and the rooms were big

We were on a non smoking floor and some days there was a strong smell of smoke. We notified the staff they were very sorry but probably hard to control from their end

This is my hotel of choice when I visit Foshan. It is conveniently located in the busling area of Foshan, right next to Lingnan Tiandi. Parking is provided free of charge and allows easy in and outs, not necessary to scan a QR code everytime like some other hotel parking. For a 5 star hotel, I think it is great value and it is better maintained than some other nearby 5 star hotels. The breakfast selection is very wide, and provides a bit of everything including local foods. Eggs can be made to order and there's even a noodle and congee station. Hopefully they can source better coffee beans as the coffee wasn't that great. Otherwise, everything is good. The room is spacious with a nice balcony. The room I had includes both a tub and shower option, which I only used the shower. The water pressure was strong, much better than some other hotels. Ammenties are standard, and I really would like them to replace all their hair-dryers. Most 4 star hotels have better and newer hair-dryers, doesn't even have to be expensive. The current hair-dryer constantly unfolds itself and has a bungee cord style that sometimes is not long enough. It's the one thing that doesn't fit with this hotel's tier. The gym is right by the pool, with basic but enough equipment for a good workout. When I used it, not that many people were there. Have not used the pool before, but it is a very nice and large indoor pool, also not that many people were using it. Overall, a great hotel at a great price. Always lovely to stay here.

The hotel was in an extremely convenient location, within walking distance to 祖庙 & lots of local eateries. Our stay was right smack in the middle of the CNY hols - the hotel was PACKED at 95% occupancy and we can see that every staff was super extremely busy but their service standards were still excellent - smiling, efficient and trying to accomodate all our requests and also extremely helpful. Eg. we called to say that our wifi was not working, Chris came up (almost immediately) to help and eventually found out it was our own silly mistake, but Chris never showed any slightest impatience nor frustration (still smiling!) even though we know he was extremely extremely busy at the concierge with a full lobby of guests. I am extremely especially impressed by the service - special call out to Jessie who checked us in (I hope I remembered her name correctly), the 总监 (sorry, didn't get his name) and the excellent concierge team - Raymond, Chris & Ace!
