Ananta Legian Hotel

I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. From the initial warm greeting including welcome drinks and cold towel service to a sincere farewell; the staff exceeded all my expectations of customer service. Everyday the staff including Dekyu, Santi and Juli welcomed you at breakfast time. They were polite and warm. Dekyu took a personal interest in our well being and provided local tips on where to go and what to see. Thanks Dekyu for you professionalism. The buffet breakfast is the best and the items change daily so you wont be served the same dishes twice. Hotel concierge goes out of their way to assist you in anything you need. I left my mobile phone in the taxi and Robbie from Concierge went beyond customer service contacting my number on my behalf until it was returned. Thank you Robby and Martana. The hotels location is perfect. Close to the beach and has so many good restaurants around to choose from. For typical good cheap Indonesian food, you cant pass by Warung Merah or Sammys. If you want to party, Cocoon is just down the road. Cocoons restaurant is excellent. Have I convinced you to stay? Only you can try the Ananta Hotel experience. You wont be disappointed!

Beds were good. Female staff member on reception was fantastic. Spoke good English and couldn’t help enough . Good location and quiet

The property is tired and quite run down . The place needs an overhaul . They claim it to be a 4 star . It’s 2 star at best .

Good location, nice pool. Breakfast was sparse but ok

Hotel has no hot water so cold showers only. We were not informed of this and they could not provide any certainty on when it would be back. So we had to cancel our next stay at hotel for when we returned from lombok. Hotel facilitated this without too much trouble.

The staff were amazing so lovely and willing to help in any way.

There was only slightly lukewarm water when we arrived and then on our last two days there was no water at all. The bed is very hard and caused lots of aches and pains. The pool closes at 8pm so you’re not allowed to swim after that. The buffet breakfast was very disappointing with not many options available. The fridge in the rooms are not cold at all so putting things like cheese slices in there was pointless. The tv antenna didn’t work and was so glitchy we couldn’t watch anything.
