Villa Taman di Blayu

Located in the serene Bali countryside of rice fields and palm trees,the villa consists of 12 cottages and an open air dining area surrounded by lotus ponds,exquisitely maintained gardens and an inviting the food is superb. If you want a quiet retreat away from the crowded resorts, this is the perfect spot!

Love this place. This is the second time we have visited over recent years and thoroughly enjoyed this visit as much as our first. After visiting temples around Mengwi and the monkey forest at Alas Kedaton this is a great spot for a relaxing lunch before heading off to Tanah Lot. While the food is good from a comprehensive menu the location of the tables on little islands within a tranquil water lily pond is great. Service was great and highly recommend.

Beautiful small resort close to Ubud and the coast. Amid beautiful rice fields. We had two villas (of the 8): large bedroom, superb outside bathroom. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the service is great. Not all staff speak great English, but they sure try to take care of your every need. The hotel also offers tours and activities, such as a cycling tour to Tanah Lot temple on the coast, or a cooking class. We did the cycling tour: proper mountain bikes. It was a two hour ride to Tanah Lot temple through rice fields, villages, but also through busy streets and not so picturesque neighborhoods. It does give you a real picture of Balinese life. The sunset at Tanah Lot is pretty, but touristy. We spent the second day around the beautiful pool. Had a great relaxing stay here.

We had one of our best experiences in our lifetime travelling here in this beautiful Villa. Me and my girlfriend had a Balinese wedding ceremony arrange here and it was something amazing. All the staff was with us sharing this special moment and they made us feel very special. They prepared every single detail of the ceremony with so much dedication and love that we felt truly blessed. On top of that, two priests came to lead the ceremony in the little temple they have in the Villa. After that they gave us many gifts and flowers and we had a gorgeous dinner with live music and dancing! All the staff treated us like kings for the 2 nights that we spend in this paradise surrended by rice fields and palm trees. Thank you Kadek and all the staff! Martin and Angela (Spain and Italy)

Wow- how nice are these villas and I do not want to tell everyone as I want it to remain the nice beautiful peaceful resort in Bali.When you first walk into the reception area it is just like being with close family as they treat you so nicely (this is only my second stay)Everyone remembers you and the breakfast and dinner staff and all the hotel people are so nice.I had a big dinner organised on the night of Galungan for 12 people and the staff did such an amazing job.This was more like hosting a private dinner party than being in a hotel.The gardens and villas and the view over the rice fields is just beautiful and there are some nice pathways to walk through the rice fields.The outdoor bath set amongst the water lillies and gold fish is incredible and the restaurant food is also so tasty for breakfast and dinner.You can do as little as you want or take in tours etc. and there is also a nice on site swimming pool.The manager came up on the second morning at breakfast and made himself known and I found out he spent some time in my home town of Perth which was nice.These villas are such a nice friendly family run place you do not want to leave.

This place is beautiful with great views of the rice fields,gardens and pool area.There are only 12 villas and when I stayed there only one other couple was there so you had the whole place to yourself.You are in a local community with many places to explore and you can easily walk through the nearby rice fields by yourself as there is a nice concrete pathway.The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is also a really nice restaurant located over the lily ponds serving really tasty food.This is a fantastic place to stay to get involved with the local culture and you also feel so safe just walking around by yourself.The villas have a nice separation and are screened by gardens so it is very private and peaceful but you also feel very safe and secure.I booked the deluxe villa which was beautiful with a big circular bath set in a pond area complete with gold fish and water flowers.The room had a nice four poster comfortable bed and the air con was strong.I can,t wait for my next stay.

We only stayed here 2 nights, but what a beautiful place to stay! We arrived here when it was dark, so we had no idea what it all looked like, but then we woke up and stepped out of our room and... Wow! Rice fields right across from us, so peaceful. The staff was very friendly and so helpful. We felt like we were in heaven. Would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Located in a green setting this superb address offers the traveler a dream stay. The lodges are very spacious, the bathroom is amazing with a bath installed in the middle of a private water garden. You will be able to eat in individual lounges scattered in the middle of a pond just in front of the swimming pool that borders the rice field.

Van alles was kapot in de kamer en slecht onderhouden! Het eten in restaurant was matig en voor Indonesische begrippen behoorlijk aan de prijs.
