Hotel Broletto Mantova - Centro Storico

Our room with a little balcony overlooking via Broletto, right in the centre of the old town so a great base for exploring the city. We were there in a heatwave so really appreciated the a/c in the room and the fridge with chilled drinks

It's noisy until late in the neighbouring streets but with the windows closed it didn't stop us sleeping

Cama grande, quarto enorme Mistura de velho e confortáve. Ótimo café da manhã. Localização ótima no centro histórico

Estacionamento nas cidades históricas sempre é problema e é bom não ter muita bagagem, porque tem uma praça enorme, calçada com pedras redondas pequenas. Pitoresco, mas difícil p arrastar malas.

Hotel liegt wirklich Mitten in der Stadt. Hotel ist sehr sauber und in der Nacht auch ruhig. Frühstück gut (frische Kipferln mit Nutella, Crema oder Marmelade sowie sehr guter Schinken und Käse) Räder konnten bei der Rezeption abgestellt werden.

The location is good but the nearby public parking is a rip off! The shown rate makes you think it's 10€/day... no! If you arrive at 11.59 pm, this one minute will be charged as a full day!

The pictures you see on Booking or on the hotel site must have been taken 15 or 20 years ago! Everything is worn out, old, very old. It's deceiving ; you feel the owner does not want to invest a penny. Breakfast is ordinary, low cost products or supplies; I tried a slice of ham, and it must have been there for a week as it was dry. Shame! Avoid this place.

I absolutely loved my three night stay at Hotel Broletto. The room was fabulous – spacious, well equipped, clean and stylish. There was a Lavazza Espresso machine in the room for that early morning coffee, luxury hygiene products in the bathroom, a fully stocked complimentary mini bar, and a comfortable bed. The en-suite has everything you need. Everything was in good condition and fresh. There is a lift too – never to be underestimated. The hotel breakfast is a typical Italian fare but really well done. A variety of fresh cornettos, pastries and cakes every day, fruits, cheeses, meats, breads, cereals, and a cappuccino machine. Winning! They have a convivio station set up in the breakfast room during the day and evening for anyone who would like a hot drink or snack. The standout though would have to be the hotel staff, Nicole, Anita, Deborah and in particular – Diletta, who went out of her way to ensure my stay was everything I wanted and perhaps didn’t know I needed. She was absolutely brilliant, cheerful, helpful, lots of great tips and suggestions which made my stay a breeze. Communication was excellent before, during and even after leaving. The location is central to everything you want to do and see. This hotel is a 10/10 in every way. I am very glad I chose to visit Mantova/Mantua and that I chose Hotel Broletto.
