"Very comfortable hotel in historic setting"

We picked this hotel mainly because it was a convenient stopping point fairly close to the motorway on a long journey down to the Alps but we would happily return for a longer stay. The room was excellent and spacious with very effective air conditioning (very welcome as it was the middle of the recent heatwave). Dinner in the restaurant was of a very high standard and the buffet breakfast was excellent.

Prachtige kamers, mooie plek

Het hotel is net open, daardoor waren er wat opstartproblemen, maar personeel heeft dit allemaal heel goed opgelost

Mooie locatie en omgeving

Personeel deed zijn best, maar veel te weinig medewerkers. Waardoor o.a terras niet werd opgeruimd, incompleet ontbijt (glazen op, broodjes op, geen bestelling kunnen plaatsen, wachten etc) Kamers niet op orde; vlekken in tapijt/ bedsprij/ spiegel, doorgelegen matras, slecht oud kussen, schaamharen in bad, stof op meubels, schimmel plekken op de muur. Normaal niet zo kritisch, maar na zoveel punten behoorlijke tegenvaller bij verwachting van zo'n mooie locatie.
