Maison Chablis is an absolute gem in Franschhoek. The owner/hostess is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is simply amazing — full of classic French vibes and charm. The garden is beautiful and the pool is perfect for unwinding, with chickens casually walking around which adds such a unique and relaxed touch. The location is also ideal: it’s within easy walking distance of the town center, with plenty of top restaurants and wineries nearby, and it felt very safe to walk around. Overall, a perfect stay — highly recommended!

Das Frühstück hat uns qualitativ leider nicht überzeugt. Zur Zeit unseres Aufenthalts gab es teilweise keinen Strom aufgrund der Brände, was eigentlich kein Problem ist, allerdings mussten wir mit offenen Fester schlafen (da keine AC) und es sonst im Zimmer unerträglich warm geworden wäre und wir hatten (obwohl kein Licht an war) ein unerträgliches Problem mit Moskitos - sodass es eine recht teure Nacht mit sehr wenig Schlaf war
