A perfect stopover between Knysna and Cape Town, this boutique hotel is an absolute gem. The property is full of character, with thoughtful touches that make it feel both stylish and welcoming. The service is genuinely outstanding—warm, attentive, and effortlessly professional. Dinner was a highlight: a well‑curated menu with delicious, beautifully prepared dishes that made the evening feel special. A wonderful place to unwind on the journey, and one I’d happily return to.

The pool needed some attention in terms of getting it to a clear blue state but satisfactory for our purpose

The price-value is unparalleled: the size of the rooms, the quality of the furniture, the amenities, the breakfast and, most of all, the staff. I want to mention that I left behind my laptop with all my travel pictures in the room. In a normal situation that could have easily been an enormous loss for me. Fortunately I discovered that the item had been safely kept and was promptly returned to me even facilitating the handover to my convenience. In a world where such things cannot always be taken for granted, I remark the professionalism and integrity of the administration and overall staff.
