Staff was very helpful. They did the best they could.

The pool had NO heat, and the second waterside was not working. Big let down for us as l booked this hotel because of the pool and waterslides. Also, the sauna was not working. My son had stayed at the Travel lodge about 2 years ago, and it had the SAME problems.

"It was ok, clean, with an onsite pub, a little dated and dark, but it served our needs."

Breakfast was ok - the sausage was reformed 'meat', and the eggs were...rather tasteless. But it was warm, and there was a good selection of drinks (tea, coffee, water, juices).

I would have liked more fruit (besides a fruit cocktail from a can)
