The unit in Room 408 was running but delivered no cooling. It operated normally to all appearances, fan and controls responding, yet the room temperature did not drop. With prevailing temperatures in excess of 30 degrees C, I was forced to open a window to make the room bearable. The resulting traffic noise disturbed my sleep, which after a 15 hour flight from Singapore was a serious matter. The fault is not one a guest can resolve unaided, and on a warm night it undermined the basic purpose of the room. Front desk. Service on arrival was poor. I wished to buy a beer, which required a member of staff to issue a proof of age verification. They refused to do so. One was surly and rude, the other simply ignored me. For a hotel positioned to serve transiting air crew and long haul passengers, this falls well short of what the location demands. Room. The room itself was spartan but clean. No complaint on cleanliness. Overall. Adequate as a transit stop on the room itself, let down badly by the air conditioning fault and by front desk staff who were unhelpful to the point of rudeness. The combination of a hot room, no working cooling and broken sleep made for a poor night before onward travel. I would think twice before using it again on a turnaround. Rgds

Don’t have Air conditioning, that’s my mistake don’t read properly.. we can’t really sleep because so hot, like im Oven even in the night. At least offer a Fan at room
