"Wonderful pub hotel in quiet village in Cornwall"

10.0

Had a fantastic 3-day stay at The Three Tuns in St Keverne. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet, modern, and had a nice view of the village church. Breakfast was great every day. Dinner in the pub (we ate there all 3 nights) was delicious. Great locals for conversation, too. We had a great time and will return.

"Lovely room, well presented, good view "

10.0

We were met by enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff who were all friendly and helpful. They made us feel comfortable straight away so that was a good start, which carried on. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night! Location was just right as we were touring the Lizard coast. Parking was infront of the hotel in the busy square so we were able to keep an eye on the car, other parking was offered at the back of the hotel. The busy season had clearly just finished anyway so parking was not a problem. Breakfast and departure times were extended which gave us time for a leisurely start after a perfect breakfast. Locally sourced food well cooked and plenty of it meant the hotel lived up to reviews. Quiet room and comfy beds gave a good nights sleep. TV kept coming on by itself tho; we didn't discover any ghosts!

"Excellent"

Generally a good experience. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent cooked breakfast but little choice of cereal and no fruit. Room Nr 5 was rather restricted in size with little room for storages. We did note that the other rooms were larger. We would stay there again.

"Decent place to stay if on Lizard peninsula. "

8.0

I stumbled across this place whilst searching for a room to stay on a sunny August Bank Holiday. This is one of 2 pubs/hotels on the village square and there is adequate free parking right outside. The double room (number 4) was clean and looked out over the churchyard next door. The bed had good quality linen, but the thick duvet wasn't appropriate for the hottest weekend of the year! The bathroom was large and had a modern shower cubicle instead of a bath. Half of the pub is a dedicated dining area whilst the other half is a bar. The menu looked very good but was pricey for a pub, although the quality of the food though looked very good. There was a choice of real ales which were well kept. Most tastes could be catered for from the bar, but the choice wasn't extensive. The breakfast choice was OK and of the standard you would expect for a typical small hotel. All the staff there were very friendly, welcoming and looked like they enjoyed their work. The three figure room rate per night was too high as I've experienced better value in similar Southern Cornish hotels recently. Overall though I would recommend this hotel as it has a nice homely and welcoming feel.

"Beautiful B&B!"

10.0

Lovely B&B in the centre of St Keverne. Newly decorated rooms which were a pleasure to stay in. The staff were very attentive - dinner service was great, very quick and delicious food! Stayed for one night but would be more than happy to stay here longer! I would recommend to anyone and I hope to return here soon.
