The beach had a lot of debris, I guess it is hard to maintain their section given that the beach is accessible by everyone. Pap and Maissa went out of their way to ensure our comfort.

As I start all my reviews, I've been living in rural senegal (Tambacounda) for the last 4 months, so my idea of luxury is skewed. Keur Marrakis is a delightful, cabin-feel hotel. It is set apart from the main road, right on the beach, has a clean pool and a very accommodating staff. It's an ideal place to just kick back and relax. The downsides: the bed in room #6 was terribly uncomfortable and the dinner/menu in general was disappointing (6 500F for their pre-fixe dinner, which included a shredded cabbage salad, rice and prawns or pasta and sauce, melon for dessert).

A charming oasis overlooking the ocean. Great view. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The room was cosy and comfortable. Pape, the manager was very helpful and nice to deal with. The food was equally good. We would go back there in a heartbeat. Be careful of the local taxis who can be quite aggressive and unpleasant to deal with.

Charmant dans l'emplacement, le must réside dans la qualité du personnel. Du veilleur de nuit, taciturne, discret, serviable, au facétieux serveur, en passant par les jeunes filles de la cuisine affectées également au service, aussi talentueuses que gracieuses, et au dévoué directeur, tout est fait pour vous mettre à l'aise. Vraiment à ne pas manquer.

とても家庭的で、気持ちよく滞在できる。朝食はシンプル。夕食は2つのメニューから選ぶ。美味しいよ。部屋は少し狭いかな。シャワーのみなので、お風呂でゆっくりは無理。海側の部屋がいい。窓を開けると海風が気持ち良い。ネットはリビングで接続。そこそこ早い。テレビがないし、他に娯楽もないので、本当にノンビリ滞在したい人向け。

Stayed for some nights with my mother and we just loved. She was a bit apprehensive with the location at night but all the rest is wonderful.. from the people the family that runs the place, the staff, the fresh fish captured each morning from the sea, the room, the breakfast on the terrace a few meters from the water, the beach. We booked a transfer Airport (Dakar) to Mbour with their own private taxi driver, who also took us around to visit the Resorts touristic area. Breakfast included, free wifi. Excellent choice! I don't think there are many touristic places close to visit.

Pour être totalement honnête, nous cherchions initialement un hôtel à Saly pour le weekend. Nous avons toutefois constaté que les prix étaient extrêmement élevés, surtout pour deux étudiants. Nous avons donc continuer à chercher et sommes parvenus à la rencontre de cet hôtel. Première chose que l 'on remarque, les prix sont très abordables - près de 4 fois moins cher qu'un hôtel à Saly. L'hôtel est à Mbour, à quelques 20 minutes de Saly - ce qui se fait très bien en taxi pour 2000 FCFA (environ $4 US). D'autant plus que cet hôtel est directement sur le bord de la mer. On a accès directement à une plage - peu fréquentée par les touristes, donc assez tranquille. L'hôtel est munie d'une très belle terrasses extérieure où il est possible de s'y allonger en toute tranquillité. Le service est absolument incroyable. Les gens sont vraiment gentils et très accueillants. Toujours prêts à répondre à nos moindres caprices. La chambre était très confortable, propre et assez mignonne. Nos fenêtres menaient directement sur la mer, donc le soir, nous nous laissions bercer par la douce mélodie des vagues qui frappaient la plage. Enfin, si j'ai l'occasion de retourner dans cette région, il est assuré que c'est à cet endroit que je séjournerai. Mon choix est fait. C'est un coup de cœur. Un vrai.

Petit hôtel très paisible et fleurie avec une jolie vue sur la mer. Repas correct avec des prix compétitifs. Gros défaut qui n est pas propre à cet hôtel mais au Sénégal, pas de paiement par carte bleue. Bruno
