Very good all round. Fantastic location with convenient parking and very good variety or pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The room had a lot of character and was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the attached tearoom was very nice and provided an excellent breakfast

"Brilliant stay"

Everything. Helen’s and Phil are tremendous hosts making us feel very welcome. Breakfasts were superb. The room was comfortable, well heated for cold days outside, beautiful clean shower and bathroom.

A very historic room. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was brand new and everything very clean.

As tall people we had a problem with the low beams. We thought there should have been chairs in the room.

The cottage was great, we were in the main house, which is very quaint. Not suitable for people with mobility issues as the stairs are very steep but we loved it. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Location was perfect for us. Great nearby pubs.

steep stairs and not clear on the breakfast situation, we paid for breakfast in the joining cafe/restaurant as it wasn't clear what we had to do.

Lovely location and really clean. Very atmospheric! Neighbouring tea room with great breakfast is a big bonus.

Don’t expect much space from XVII century cottage :D
