Hotel Las Doñas

It was our first stop on our Camino a Santiago de Compostela. We loved the small town, the location was right on the Camino, the hotel was very clean, easy and friendly check in and exactly what we needed to rest up for the next days walk.

En la zona centro de Villafranca, en un entorno paisajistico bonito. En días laborables se puede aparcar, pero supongo en dias festivos señalados no será tan facil. Hotel bien conservado y de calidad, estilo antiguo. Desayuno correcto. El unico "pero" es que, para estar en una zona fria, es dificil de entender como la calefacción puede ser por aire acondicionado, y solo en la habitación: en el baño no hay nada que lo caliente! (al menos la habitación que yo tuve).... y por las mañanas frias, eso se nota . y mucho..

Bem localizado, fácil de achar. Pessoal educado e prestativo. Excelente.

Spent one night here on while on Camino last month. Beautiful building right in centre of town. Lovely room overlooking church. One of the nicest breakfasts I had on Camino - fresh / homemade produce. Staff were pleasant and helpful but maybe less friendly that in other places I stayed at. No complaints & would recommend.

Las Donas was in a charming, little town, Villafranca del Bierzo. We used it as a transition day in traveling in Northern Spain. Wished we had stayed a week. Lovely old hotel but with all the modern charms and personal service. Many architectural and cultural things to see in town. Including 9th century Romanesque church on the Pilgram Route. The town (and much of Spain), shows what you can do with planning for urban spaces. Don't miss it.

Hotel pequeño pero muy cuidado , limpio y el personal muy amable

Wifi worked in very nice room directly on the Camino. Dinner places a five minute walk. Very nice place to stay
