Nice location near the Thames in Twickenham. Friendly helpful staff. Very good mattresses. Powerful airconditioning. Nice decor in room. Spacious bathrooms.

While the cooked breakfast had a great set of options to chose from, the choice of cereals, bread etc was very limited. There corridor to our room on the first floor had a sudden shower slope that was not marked and caused me to stumble several times.

For us, this was an excellent location, walkable and also on bus routes and near the train station (Strawberry Hill). Restaurant and pub here is great. Also, check out Parsnips across the street in the park for breakfast and lunch menu.

I think the food was quite mediocre for the price charged.

The hotel is a little shabby but the staff are most helpful, location good and definitely good value for money.

General state of decor

Food was very good but after we had booked for Sunday roast but almost all of the roasts menu selections were not available.

Location excellent, very clean, comfortable bed, lots of extra thought in the room. Staff really helpful found us a room so we could check in early. Fabulous bar area. Thoroughly recommend.

Our room was tired and overpriced. The receptionist on arrival was (at best) disinterested

Great location

We arrived and wanted some lunch before heading to the rugby. We had to ask twice after 45 minutes where our lunch was given others after us had received theirs. It came just after an hour. We put it down to it being very busy, and decided to eat back there in the evening as the food although late, was very good. Unfortunately my starter of scallops arrived after our mains had come out. I appreciate they were busy, but it just seamed they are under staffed on a busy day with rugby going on, and my wife did say twice that the scallops where a starter. To top it off, the Aircon in the room had an alarm which kept going off, and the staff turned it off in our room on the hottest day of the year. they turned it back on and said if it happened again to turn it off at the fuse board. 10 minutes later it did so no air con all night. “Just turn it off in the main fuse board”, and that was it. 11.00pm fiddling with mains electric.

We were initially given an uncleaned room. Bathroom was dirty, the linen had not been changed, the bins were full.....so we had to be given a different room from the room type we had paid for. Unlikely to be booking with them again. Hope this was just a bad day and not the norm!!
