Hotel Kundalini

It's a wonderful hotel. Only issue is if you're mosquito sensitive...which I am. I would encourage you bring tons of repellant and a candle or two of citronella

This was our second time staying here and it was even more beautiful this time! A few minutes walk to the center of Montanita and right on the beach. Hammocks outside each room and a restaurant on-site. Breakfast included. We will definitely stay here again!

The property is beautiful and well cared for. They're eco friendly and well located, a quick 5 min walk from the makeshift bus terminal on the main road. I slept great despite the noise from neighbors and the discotheques [I am generally a light sleeper]. The private beach is a plus, though I didn’t mind the vendors on the one day that I ventured over to the public side. Montañita Beach is gorgeous but has a spaced out shore line. The young man did charge me tax at checkout; foreigners aren't supposed to pay taxes on hotels in Ecuador. The young man spoke great English, up until this moment. When I asked for an invoice, he said he couldn't understand me. Convenient. I will dispute with my bank. I'd still recommend the place, just be diligent.

The hotel is located closer than town than to la punta. I was there to surf the point. For night clubs and restaurants. Its better to stay here . Most of the staff speak English and are very helpful.
