Great place to visit, it is very well kept, comfortable and safe. A swimming pool would be a great addition.

Great setup, right on the beach, hammocks and stuff. Breakfast was the best we had at any hotel in Ecuador. Easy walk to town without being in the middle of the noise.

Felt like a little Hawaiian hotel! Staff was great, location was perfect! Close walk to town and right on the beach! We would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It is a five min beach walk away from the crazy town. That is a good buffer. The food was the best we found on this stop, as well.

This was a perfect stop for us on our way to Puerto Lopez. The grounds are lovely. The rooms are simple and clean. Loved the hammock in front of each room. Close to the beach but not close to noisy night life. Nice entertainment in the evening at the bar. Beachside breakfast was delicious.

Great tranquil place in the midst of chaos. Beautiful well kept gardens. Great breakfast selections.

We had a great experience at this hotel. It exceeded our expectations. I felt like I was in a cabana on a tropical island. :) the room were clean, the landscaping was beautiful, and lastly the restaurant attached to the hotel was very high quality. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every day that we were there, and one of the nights they had an awesome live band that was the highlight of our trip. In this part of the world the hotels cannot compare to the United States however this small haven was the next best thing. It felt like a true get away. There were no TVs in the rooms which was fine by us as it was nice to get away from all of the modern day technology.Though they do have wifi. The staff was attentive and helpful. If our travels ever lead us back to Monanita we will happily stay again.

Room was small but comfortable. Had everything we needed. Loved the hammock outside the room. Also love the location. Right on the beach and hotel had its own little area for laying out. It's nice to be able to have breakfast on the beach and to hang out on the chairs and hammocks provided with beachfront views. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again.

This place is clean and nice. Looks really cool, much different than other hotels I have stayed in. The staff is friendly and helpful. The air conditioner works well. However, the bed and pillows are not comfortable. There are also these small openings with screens on them which allows all the outside noise to come into the room and you can here insects, cars, people talking and pretty much everything going on outside. I did not have a good night's sleep here. If you are into electronics, the wifi does not work too well and there is no TV the room.
