Great location perfect for train travel and going off to Royal Ascot

The Armoury staircase needs some TLC.

The property was well presented, excellent English country pub decor, a really good find. Staff were exvellent.

The Crown is ideally situated for train or road travel to major destinations. My room was very comfortable, lovely bed linen and soft bath towels. Excellent menu choice throughout the day and friendly efficient staff means I always choose The Crown as my first choice of hotel when visiting family in Chertsey from Texas, USA.

I stayed twice in the Armoury on this trip. The lift can be quite unpleasant and needs smartening up and also the entrance into the building.

Really nice room, courtyard is good in warm weather and breakfast is excellent.

Lovely bedroom & bathroom. Good central location reasonably near the Station. The pub, restaurant & garden all really nice spaces, spacious, but cosy, well laid out, lovely decor, comfortable and varied seating and a lovely room for a very enjoyable breakfast and for dinner the night before. The exterior fire area and blankets were a nice touch and even the loos were stylish !

We had to shut our bedroom window for sleeping, because the whole premises airconditioning exterior unit/s were just outside and below our room. We would definitely request another room location during the warmer weather.

Great staff. Lovely building. Nice room. Nice breakfast.
