Elysia Beach Resort

We had a great stay, especially for the price, but the power went out a couple times. It would have been more inconvenient if it were during the summer when we needed the a/c. It was very close to the port for swimming with whale sharks with helpful staff, a good restaurant (we loved the shakes), and tour options. The restaurant had reliable internet so a lot of people just used it like a lounge, but there was no internet in the rooms. It's good to know they don't take credit cards, but there is an ATM nearby.

The staff was great, and the hut feeling of the rooms were so cute.

This Resort was awesome. We will stay here again. We will recommend to all of our family and friends. The staff were amazing. The hotel was very clean. The restaurant was great and so convenient. Absolutely loved this place

The place is ok but the service/staff is terrible, i ask one of housekeeper if they have broom or anything to use for d bathroom.coz d water get stuck but like she dont hear nothing, and when in d restaurant they just give our breakfast wo asking our choices , i just keep my temper coz my kids is around,i just notice if its foreigners they cater good, and its not tight because werre paying d same,. Not happy w the stay at all !!!

The place is quiet, clean with staff that were so friendly esp the one in the information area. It is a basic one story rows of rooms surrounding the pool but with easy access to the beach. Not much activity but its great for people who wants to go & swim to see the butanding. The restaurant serves good food but you get sweaty eating as the ceiling fans were not enough to cool you down. Same thing in the room, ac was in the coolest setting with the ceiling fan on the fastest setting (looked so slow to me) so on mid day I was uncomfortably warm. We were there 2 nights in May 20-22 so I guess the weather was really hot & humid. Early morning walk by the sea shore around 5am was cool & enjoyable with hardly anybody around. FYI- no phone to order or call front desk, no hot water for early coffee or tea. However restaurant is open 6am until 9pm.

The resort is really nice, it is located by the beach so it has a lovely breeze all the time. The views are pretty, the room was nice, the bathroom a bit small for two people though but not big deal. The staff was super helpful, always smiling and willing to help. Really good asset! Food is also great and with very good prices. The only thing that we didn't love is the swimming. It is a lovely pool but the water was boiling hot and it wasn't particularly clean. Maybe a bit more maintenance to keep it free of oily water and leaves would help. Other than that, it was a great long weekend!

We loved Elysia Beach Resort. It was beautiful, clean and everyone was so friendly and helpful. It is a small oasis. The whale sharks were incredible! We would highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you

Friendly staff and awesome pool, right on the beach and perfect to watch the sunset. Transfers to and from airport were a bit pricey but food and drinks weren’t too bad in the restaurant

The staff were incredibly helpful and professional. The rooms were a little basic, but very comfortable and picturesque. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay there.
