La Posada del Recovero

The room was comfortable and we slept very well. The location by the river is beautiful and peaceful, which makes it a very relaxing place to stay for a night in nature. The husband who welcomed us was very friendly and welcoming, and overall the place has a nice, authentic atmosphere typical of rural Andalucía.

The only issue for us was the breakfast. We had booked it in advance, but it consisted almost entirely of meat (jamón, bacon, etc.), white bread and very sugary tinned fruit. As vegetarians this was difficult for us, and there were basically no alternatives. We tried to explain that many travellers today are vegetarian or vegan, and that it might help guests if the breakfast contents were explained beforehand, or if people were simply asked whether they eat meat. A small note or menu explaining what is included in the breakfast could easily avoid misunderstandings. The host kindly decided not to charge us for the breakfast after our discussion, which we appreciated, but clearer communication about the breakfast would make the experience much better for future guests.

Von der Begrüßung bis zur Verabschiedung habe ich noch nie jemanden erlebt der so hilfreich und freundlich war wie die Betreiber dieses Hotels. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

La ubicación en el centro del pueblo. El parking muy cerca. Gloria muy atenta y amable igual que los vecinos, todo genial para desconectar.

Con tanta lluvia las carreteras con tierra a los lados pero pasamos sin ningún problema por todas.

Tranquil. Comfortable bed, good shower with plenty of hot water, secure place to store bicycles, friendly staff. Good value half-board. Good beers.

We didn’t find any tea/coffee making facilities.

The village itself has stunning scenery, a unique location Shower has instant hot water.

The room has no kettle or microwave. The black out shutters were jammed open. A large street light outside the window. Some very old blankets on bed. Food on offer for Cena was very mediocre. Same menu every day.. The village's tiny super market only opens 4 hours each day and not on Sunday. I booked a queen bed but got 2 singles.

Vi kunne lide alt! Manuels gæstfrihed var ud over det sædvanlige. Det var som at komme i himmelen. Lækker, ren , varm og hyggelig værelse, oplysninger om byen, mad hjemmelavet af Gloria,som vi spiste i pejsestuen. Vi er så ked af det at vi ikke kan blive længere. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen. Dette sted er en perle!

Verónica and the other staff at La Posada del Recovero are incredibly nice and helpful. They were easy to approach and talk to about any needs I had, and they were very responsive.

As I am vegetarian, it would have been nice to have more breakfast options. But the coffee was great!

Sitio precioso en un pueblo con mucho encanto . La carretera no es lo que dicen ni tantas curvas, ni tan mala .

No se puede mejorar nada , quizás el pueblo necesite algo más de ambiente .
