Comfort Inn & Suites Orangeburg

Very clean and spacious room. Bathroom was large. Beds were very comfortable. Polite and helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Would definitely stay again.

Room was dingy and smelled bad, Bed under the sheets had a funky smell, bed was also very uncomfortable, toilet leaked water onto the floor, and the for the price I paid to stay for one night I would have slept in my car if i didnt need to use the shower.

Very accessible to the highway and professional staff.

the property was adequate. its cleanliness and price point were its strongest factors. felt a bit worn and in need of refresh.

Although the property is in need of an update/refresh, it was clean and a good location. The staff went out of their way to provide assistance to us as stranded, out of state travelers (had a car trouble on a holiday Sunday), helping with local recommendations for towing, mechanic, car service etc. the hospitality of Valerie, Wanda, and Aisha was exceptional - great employees and people.

Aim higher with room cleaning.

Of the many times we’ve stayed at various Comfort Inns, this was the first time we’ve been very disappointed with the accommodations. We booked 2 adjoining rooms, which they provided. In one room the bathroom had obviously not been touched; there was a damp facecloth hung over one of the towels; a sopping wet bathmat was still in the bottom of the tub; the shampoo was half used. I could go on, but obviously things aren’t being looked after as we expected for this chain. The evening manager apologized and offered to move us, which we accepted. Even in these, there were general housekeeping issues. The breakfast was good and there was a variety of fresh fruit.

Conveniently located off I-26, close to several eating establishments. Staff friendly & attempted to address concerns. Our room was musty, shower rod installed improperly therefore shower curtain didn’t hang properly resulting in water on the floor. Walls & floor had evidence of water damage so clearly this is an ongoing problem. Rooms need updated.
