Comfort Inn & Suites Orangeburg

Dead bugs on carpet, hair dryer almost caught on fire and phone in room was not even connected. Stayed in many Comfort Suites but this was bad.

The room and kitchen were filthy I have videos. Infection prone

1 night stay. Property was ok, needs an update. Was pretty clean. Front desk gave us a room that wasn't ready. Housekeeper was still tidying up when we got to door. Interaction with front desk was just ok, if i put something in your hand I expect you to do the same. Young lady kept placing items for me of the counter. Otherwise an ok place for a couple of nights

No non-slip tub mat.

We needed to stop for the night traveling from Miami to West Virginia. This hotel was clean, comfortable bed, nice free breakfast, friendly staff (Roshonda) and the area felt safe with tons of restaurants to choose from. We will make this our stopping point next time traveling to Florida.

Double charged for the property and it will take 6-7 business days to get the money back. That is ridiculous! Very poor business model and will never stay again

Spotlessly, clean, beautiful spacious room, warm, southern hospitality. We travel a lot and usually stay at a Comfort Inn. Breakfast is included. This was the best breakfast we have ever encountered in our experience! Kudos to Geraldine the cook! Also love those Comfort Inn beds and pillows!

Rashonda was amazing at checkin. We came here to have use of indoor pool after driving 7 hours with our newly adopted (yesterday) 2 year old. Pool was closed as they said they are having issues w/ heater. Was going to be our little ones first time. We had everything for her and we were so disappointed as we did not get to relax in the pool. I wish that I had remembered that we stayed in this kind of hotel the previous 2 nights and we HATED the beds, so extremely uncomfortable!!! There is food in the microwave, under burners, floor had trash and food on it. Bugs around edges in dining area, bug in bath tub, open holes behind fridge, unfinished edges by dishwasher, burners have food under them, food in microwave, turned on tv then remote quit. Had to wait over an hour to get batteries in it after 2 other remotes failed to work. So disappointing. I will be writing off Comfort Suites for life and will definitely warn all my travel friends.

Horrible experience! I stayed March 15 - March 17. On the morning of the 17th my truck, trailer, and a rented golf cart were stolen out of the parking lot. Security cameras showed what happened. It was obviously a professional hit. The police told us that cars are stolen in that area all the time. The owner won’t respond to us at all, the GM ‘can’t help us’, and the CEO of Choice Hotels (who owns the franchise) passed us to his assistant attorney.Don’t stay at this hotel! It’s unsafe and the customer support is non-existent!

Clear decay in the property and lack of cleanliness in room. A couple was loudly arguing in front of the building when I arrived. Smell of natural gas in stairwell. Staff were friendly and helpful.
